Corona vaccine made in America is available at a high price. According to a report, the US company Moderna is planning to charge between Rs 3,700 and Rs 4,500 for a single dose of its vaccine.

The proposed price of the modern vaccine is about Rs 800 higher than that of Pfizer and BioNTech's Corona vaccine. Moderna's company can charge between Rs 3,700 and Rs 4,500 for two doses of its vaccine.

Pfizer in the US has a deal worth about Rs 15,000 crore with its German partner Pfizer. The project plans to vaccinate 50 million people against coronavirus. However, the vaccine will only prove effective and safe in its final stages when people get the vaccine.

Modern vaccines can fetch prices ranging from Rs 3,700 to Rs 4,500 from the US and other high-income countries. A company spokesman said talks were under way with the US government for the supply of the vaccine. However, the spokesperson did not disclose the price of the vaccine for privacy.

According to Reuters, the price of the modern Corona virus vaccine has not been fixed. Pfizer, Moderna and Merck & Co said they would share the vaccine with profits. Johnson & Johnson, meanwhile, spoke of selling the vaccine under a not-for-profit.

Meanwhile, British-Swedish company AstraZeneca has struck a deal with the US to supply 30 crore vaccines worth about Rs 9,000 crore. Accordingly, the United States will have to pay Rs 300 per dose for the AstraZeneca vaccine.

The US has launched Operation Warp Speed ​​program to develop the vaccine, under which the government will have to provide Rs 7,476 crore to the motor company to develop the vaccine.
