The White House said the US government would soon implement a new immigration policy. An official statement said a merit-based immigration system would be implemented in the United States. Trump also claimed in a media interview that an unprecedented immigration system would be implemented in the United States.

US President Donald Trump said in a media interview that he would implement a brand new immigration system in the US, which would be merit-based. This will make people around the world happy. This will give talented people from all over the world the opportunity to work in America.

Even before that, Trump had advocated making the US immigration system merit-based. The White House also said in an official statement after Trump's media interview that Donald Trump would implement America's new immigration system. This will also include a citizenship program under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.

Under the DAC, Obama provided that those who came to the United States as children received legal protection and the right to reside in the United States.

With this announcement of the White House, the political heat has come. Senator Ted Cruz warned the Trump administration that the move would be too dangerous for the country and would cause long-term damage.

Not only that, Ted Cruz even tweeted that Trump has no constitutional right to change the entire immigration system. Because former President Obama implemented the new system by taking a decision from the executive amnesty. Trump cannot end the system.

The Trump DAC has previously criticized the program, calling it a misguided government policy. Under the new immigration system, if the merit-based policy is implemented instead of the DACA, the old provision may be abolished and the beneficiaries of the DACA may be affected.
