New delhi date. 7 July 2020, Tuesday

Tensions between India and China in the Galvan Valley appear to be easing and the Chinese army began withdrawing its tents on Monday, but India has maintained its tough stance. Fighter helicopter Apache conducted an operation near the Indo-China border on Monday night. Several Air Force planes, including Apache and Chinook, were seen flying late at night and were keeping an eye on China.

An Apache helicopter flew for monitoring at a forward base on the Indo-China border. The Indian Air Force is constantly studying the border and preparing to face any situation. Not only Apache but also Chinook helicopters studied the site. Apart from Apache helicopters, several other fighter jets, including MiG-29s, have previously flown over Leh.

It is to be mentioned that only last year 8 Apache combat helicopters got a place in the Indian Air Force and since then the strength of the army has increased. The American company Boeing manufactures Apache helicopters.

The lethality of these helicopters is very dangerous. At the same time, its design is such that it does not fall under the radar. Apache flies at a speed of about 280 km per hour and is capable of launching 16 anti-tank missiles. These helicopters can fly for about three hours without stopping.

China retreated from the Galvan Valley on Monday. This is the same place where the armies of the two countries clashed and now the Chinese army has retreated two km from this place. It was decided to reduce border tensions between the two countries and talks were also held between Ajit Doval and the Chinese Foreign Minister for this.
