Security forces found great success in Shopia, 4 terrorists shot dead, search operation continues

Security forces killed four militants during a clash in Amshipora village in Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian district. No identities of the militants have been identified so far and they were all hiding in a house in Amshipora. At the same time, security forces are conducting a search operation in the area to ensure that no terrorists are hiding anywhere.

Based on intelligence, security forces along with a joint team of Jammu and Kashmir Police conducted an operation in the area late on Friday night. Before the clashes began, the security forces offered the militants a chance to surrender but they refused and started firing.

It is to be mentioned that one district after another of Jammu and Kashmir is getting rid of terrorists. At the moment, terrorist organizations are trying to survive in Kashmir. Security forces have killed 137 militants this year. According to a report, about 200 militants, including 35-40 foreign militants, are still active in Kashmir.
