In Uttar Pradesh's Chitrakoot province, it has come to light that poor minors have to trade their bodies to get labor in mines. According to a report, poor minors were sexually exploited in exchange for wages.

Sexual exploitation in the name of labor

In fact, a private channel on Tuesday reported that contractors and middlemen in the Chitrakoot mine were sexually abusing poor girls. The report shows that girls have to be sexually abused to get wages. Contractors and intermediaries do not hire girls who are not ready for this. In order to get wages, those girls have to trade their bodies and if they don't, they are deprived of wages.

Demand for action by Delhi Women's Commission chairperson
