Public outrage against Donald Trump, wife Melania's statue burned

A wooden statue of America's first lady, Melania Trump, was erected in her hometown of Savannah, Slovenia. The statue was set on fire on July 4, America's Independence Day. Whose information was given by the sculptor who made this statue.

Brad Downey, an American artist living in Berlin, said police informed him of the incident and said the statue had been removed. "We want to know why some people did that," Downey said.

Melania Trump's office in Washington was not immediately available for comment. However, Donald Trump has vowed to crack down on anyone who damages historical monuments at exhibitions in the United States for some time.

Downey further said that he has lodged a police report on the matter as well as he wants to meet the accused after his arrest as it could be revealed in his film to be released in September.

"The matter is still under investigation so we cannot provide further details," the police official said.

However, the idol could not be identified as the mouth part of the idol was burnt due to fire. The statue was painted blue. The dress that Melania wore at Trump's inauguration was engraved on the statue.
