To teach China a lesson, the Indian government has banned 59 Chinese apps and plans to make India self-sufficient. Prime Minister Modi tweeted on Saturday that he was going to launch the self-reliant India App Innovation Challenge.

Prime Minister Modi wrote that today there is a lot of enthusiasm among the technical and startup community to create Made in India apps. So @GoI_MeitY and @AIMtoInnovate are launching the Innovation Challenge together.

"If you have a product or you think you have the vision and ability to do something good, join the tech community," Modi said. Prime Minister Modi has put his thoughts on LinkedIn.

The Indian government has banned many Chinese apps which were very popular in India and made good money. The government has taken this step after seeing China's actions on the border and the shortcomings in this app. Now the government has challenged the youth of the country to make such an app in the country.
