Persecution of Christians in China, order to put photos of Jinping in place of Lord Jesus

Beijing, July 23, 2020, Thursday

China's Xi Jinping government has now begun harassing the country's Christian community after Uighur Muslims.

Jinping's government has started persecuting Christians. Symbols of Christianity have been removed in a number of states and cities across the country. The Holy Cross and idols have been demolished. The government has ordered Christians to remove images of Jesus Christ and replace them with images of Jinping and Mao. Police in riot gear stormed a rally on Friday, removing hundreds of protesters by truck.

According to a new government order, Christians will have to remove images of the Lord Jesus from their homes and crosses as well as idols from churches.

The government has reportedly targeted hundreds of churches in one month. In particular, religious symbols have been removed from hundreds of churches in the five states of Anshui, Jiangsu, Hebei, Zhejiang and Anhui.

Meanwhile, a team of 100 workers arrived in a city called Huainin with a crane to remove religious symbols. If people protested against him, they would start quarreling with him.

The Christian Association has also released pictures of the Chinese government's crackdown on churches. Chinese officials say the buildings should not have any religious identities. Such a decision has been taken to establish equality.

The Communist Party of China has even announced that 85 million party workers will not practice any religion.

About 400 million people in China are Buddhists, 67 million are Christians and 1.5 million are Muslims.
