Many countries give false statistics of Corona which will have bad result: WHO

Geneva, Ta. 4 July 2020, Saturday

The World Health Organization (WHO) has urged countries that are severely affected by the corona to wake up and focus on controlling the epidemic by focusing on the real situation instead of fighting. "People need to wake up, the statistics and the ground conditions are not wrong," Mike Reyan, the health organisation's emergency director, told reporters in Geneva.

"Many countries are ignoring the statistics," he said. Commercial activity may need to be started for economic reasons but the problem cannot be ignored. This problem will not end magically. "It's never too late to control the epidemic," said Mike Ryan, Wuna's emergency director. Conditional relaxation should be given in areas where less transition is prevalent, rather than implementing lockdowns across the country. But in areas where the virus is spreading very fast, there is no option but to take drastic action.

He said the worst situation would be if different countries opened the lockdown and did not have the capacity to deal with the growing number of cases. More people will lose their lives if the health system fails to treat patients.

Mike Ryan, the World Health Organization's director of emergency affairs, said stricter rules may be needed again in some countries as cases escalate. He also questioned whether it was possible to contain the virus in ways other than reducing transmission and said there was no alternative but lockdown if that was not possible.
