Lalu Yadav has a thong to lead the opposition, jailed Lalu seeks release on parole

Lalu Yadav was informed that necessary legal action had been taken to release him on parole before the election. The government of Hemant Soren of Jharkhand had completed the necessary legal action. There is a belief that if Lalu Yadav is released from jail on parole, new excitement will spread in the election campaign. The Jharkhand law ministry said Lalu Yadav had already served one-third of his sentence in the fodder scam and was now eligible for parole. He may get parole. Lalu Yadav has been in jail since December 23, 2017. He was convicted of fodder scam.

The BJP is expected to release Lalu at any time. Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Modi has been criticizing Lalu for the past two to three months. Lalu Yadav, who entered politics in the 1990s, was becoming an important synonym in Bihar politics. His grip on politics did not weaken even after he lost power in 2005. In 2015, he shocked political critics by compromising with Nitish Kumar's JDU. Earlier, when it was his turn to go to jail, he kept the reins of power in his hands by appointing his almost illiterate wife Rabri Devi as the Chief Minister.
