New delhi date. 24 July 2020, Friday

The Modi government has received a high acceptance rating for handling the status of Kovid-19 in the country. More than three-quarters have given the government a high rating on the matter. This information was countered by the IANS C-Water Covid-19 tracker. According to a recent poll, 77.3 per cent of the 1,723 respondents agreed that the Narendra Modi-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government was handling the crisis properly, while 19.1 per cent disagreed.

Low rating compared to April-June

However the acceptance rating in this case has dropped compared to last month and the ongoing economic crisis is testing people's patience. The acceptance rating in this case was between 90 and 80 in the month of April-June. The Corona crisis has been going on for months and the number of infected people is steadily increasing. About 60 percent believe they can be infected themselves. In the survey, 59.8 per cent people ticked the option 'I am afraid that I or someone from my family could be corona' while 34.9 per cent people disagreed.

Most people are not afraid of an epidemic

Corona's position is not an affront to Afda Tafdi. In this case, half of the respondents believe that Corona's fears have been exaggerated. While 41.2 per cent people disagreed with the matter. Apart from that, with the new experience of lockdown, people have become more aware about combining grains and groceries. 54.3 per cent say they have a ration lasting more than three weeks while 44.7 per cent say they have a ration lasting less than three months.

6.8% faced corona

91.44 per cent of the countrymen say that no one in or around their family is infected with corona. According to the survey, only 6.8 per cent people have faced a case of covid. This means that so many percent of people have seen their family or the person around them infected with the epidemic. Of these, 1.46 per cent patients did not have health symptoms while 1.72 per cent had health problems but are now fine. Only 2.11 per cent of the patients who had health problems due to covid being positive were hospitalized and 0.47 per cent lost their lives due to the disease.

Increasing awareness about the virus

When the first survey was conducted on May 24, about 14 per cent said nothing, but by July the number had dropped to 2. This shows that people have become much more aware of the virus as only 77 per cent of people in May said they did not know anyone related to Kovid, which saw an increase of 87 per cent in June. According to a report, a maximum of 7,82,607 patients have recovered with a recovery rate of 63.18 per cent, which is double the number of 4,26,167 active patients.
