India's economic growth could slow to 0.6 to 0.9 per cent: Subramaniam Swamy

New delhi date. 24 July 2020, Friday

Addressing a virtual meeting organized by the Telangana and Andhra Pradesh branch of the American Chamber of Commerce, Swamy said the economy has collapsed in the last 4-5 years. Its rate of decline has increased due to the corona.

By the end of the current financial year, the growth rate will come down to zero to 6 to 9 per cent. Subramaniam Swamy said how this change will come ... there is potential for production. The question is whether you should be able to make the product profitable and at the same time determine what workers need in the factory, on the farms. They are able to return to their work. Once the policy rules are followed properly, an increase of 7% can be achieved in 2021-22, i.e. in the coming financial year. But this is only possible if the policies are not like the last 5 years.

Swamy said he had written letters to PM Modi several times before, pointing to the economic downturn. They also wrote a letter to the PM 4 years ago. And it said what the situation would be until the end of this year.
