Govt closes case against Advani-Joshi before Ram temple land worship: Subramaniam Swamy

New delhi date. 21 July 2020, Tuesday

BJP firebrand leader Subramaniam Swamy has made a huge demand to the government before the Bhumi Pujan of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. According to Swamy, before the Prime Minister pays his respects, the ongoing controversy over the remaining leaders, including LK Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi, should be stopped. According to Swami, these leaders did not demolish any mosque but demolished it to rebuild the temple already built there.

Ahead of the Prime Minister's visit to Ayodhya, Subramaniam Swamy has revived the Babri case by tweeting. Swamy tweeted that before leaving for Ayodhya, the Prime Minister should put an end to the alleged mosque demolition case against Advani, Joshi and other leaders. These leaders did not demolish any mosque. There was already a temple that had been demolished and a disputed structure erected. The Supreme Court has also acknowledged this. These leaders only demolished the already established temple for its reconstruction.

Swamy's tweet is going viral but so far there has been no reaction from the government. It is to be mentioned that Bhumi Pujan of Ram Mandir is going to be held on 5th August. Shri Ayodhya Tirth Kshetra Trust has invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to be the chief guest at the event which he has accepted.

Prime Minister Modi will be in Ayodhya on August 5 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. In the meantime, he will visit Bhumi Pujan, members of the trust and saints of Ayodhya. They are also expected to visit the Hanumangarhi temple and take a bath in Saryu. Along with the Prime Minister, Chief Minister Yogi and Governor Anandiben Patel are also expected to be in Ayodhya on that day.

With the Bhumi Pujan, the construction work of the Ram temple in Ayodhya will start which will last for about three years. The total height of the temple will be 161 feet with 5 peaks. Apart from that, electricity, water, sewer, roads and inns will also be constructed in Ayodhya.
