Foreigners will be able to return to their home country, the court allowed with this condition

New delhi date. 11 July 2020, Saturday

The government has allowed foreign tribesmen involved in Delhi's Nizamuddin Markaz to return to their home countries. During a hearing on the Delhi Police chargesheet on Saturday, the lower court allowed all the tribesmen to return home with fines.

121 foreign nationals from Malaysia and 11 from Saudi Arabia pleaded guilty to violating lockdown rules and visa norms by depositing a fine so that they would have to pay only Rs 7,000 to Rs 10,000 as part of the punishment.

The Delhi Police had filed a chargesheet in the lower court against 956 foreigners in the Marakj case. No accused could leave India until the hearing of the petition was completed in the trial court.

Since then, the police have not objected to the pleadings of foreigners, meaning that they have pleaded guilty during a lower court hearing on the condition of paying a fine. Due to this, foreigners will now be able to return home from India after paying the fine.
