Corona's patient billed Rs 1.5 crore, sent back to India from Dubai with ticket

The hospital in Dubai has waived the bill of Rs 1 crore 52 lakh for a Korona patient from Telangana and sent him back with a ticket to India and Rs 10,000.

Odanla Rajesh, a resident of Jagital in Telangana, was admitted to a hospital in Dubai on April 23 with a positive corona. After Rajesh was discharged from the hospital after about 80 days of treatment, his bill was Rs 1 crore 52 lakh.

Gundeli Narasimha, then president of the Gulf Works Protection Society in Dubai, who had been in touch from the beginning and took Rajesh to the hospital, spoke to Mr. Simansuth Reddy, an official at the Indian Consulate in Dubai.

Apart from this, Harjeet Singh, an official of the commercial embassy, ​​wrote a letter to the administration of the hospital in Dubai asking them to forgive the bill of this poor man on the basis of humanity. The hospital responded positively and Rajesh's bill was waived.

Patient Odanla Rajesh and one of his companions were given free tickets as well as Rs 10,000 for hand expenses. When he reached his hometown on Tuesday night, Rajesh was received by the authorities and left with his family. However they were home quarantined for 14 days.
