China threatens India to stay away from Tibet issue, otherwise it will suffer

Beijing, Ta. 07 July 2020 Tuesday

The Global Times, a newspaper affiliated with the Communist Party of China, has once again threatened India. The newspaper is also considered the mouthpiece of the Chinese government. The newspaper said in an editorial that the issue was being raised in some sections of the Indian media that India should use the Tibet card. The newspaper said that this is a lost and confused idea.

In an article titled 'Proposed Tibet Card Harmful to Indian Economy', the newspaper said that some people in India think that the Tibet Card could benefit in times of tension with China. The idea is an illusion. The newspaper wrote that Tibet is an internal issue of China and this issue should not be touched.

The Global Times has also written about the progress of Tibet. Claims that the Tibet Autonomous Region has grown comparatively faster in recent years.

The Global Times said rapid development is a good foundation for creating a stable social environment in the Tibet region. China's English-language newspaper says the so-called Tibet card is just a figment of the imagination of some Indians and does not matter in reality.

China also claims that Tibet's GDP will grow by 8.1 percent in 2019. The Tibet region also established trade relations with 71 countries. Tibet's trade with Nepal grew by 26.7 percent.

The Global Times writes that some anti-China forces use the Tibet issue to provoke against China's one-China policy but the truth is more effective than such words.

China has said that if Tibet's economy grows rapidly, it will bring stability to society. This will also improve trade relations between China and India. China said it hoped India would do more to improve economic conditions in the states that surround Tibet.
