China retaliates against US, lowers US flag from Chengdu embassy

Beijing, Ta. Monday 27 July 2020

Between America and China I was growing day by day. In retaliation for the US taking down the Chinese flag from the Chinese embassy in Houston, China ordered the evacuation of the US embassy in Chengdu, near Tibet. However, before the deadline set by China, the US lowered its flag. From the point of view of political critics, this was foolishness like fighting on the street.

The war began with a trade war. The US then accused China of spreading the Corona virus and now the two countries are at loggerheads over the issue of Hong Kong. A Cold War-like situation could now be seen between the two countries. The United States has ordered the evacuation of China's commercial embassy in Houston within 48 hours. In response, China warned to evacuate the US embassy in Chengdu, near Tibet.

Going further, China also threatened to evacuate US embassies in our other provinces and cities if the US did not reverse its decision.

Significantly, the Chinese embassy staff began burning some documents when the Chinese embassy in Houston was about to evacuate. In the process, a fire broke out in some parts of the embassy, a video clip of which went viral on social media. This led to the impression that the US was spying on the Chinese embassy. U.S. President Donald Trump told the media that the Chinese embassy was burning some documents but U.S. police did not forcibly enter the Chinese embassy out of respect for international law.
