Action against Vikas Dubey after Kanpur clash, house demolished by JCB

While a search operation is underway to find gangster Vikas Dubey, the Uttar Pradesh police have decided to demolish Vikas Dubey's house at Bikru and work has been started for the same. To find Vikas Dubey, 20 teams of police are conducting raids in different areas where his relatives live.

Police have taken 12 people into custody to investigate the case so that Vikas can be arrested as soon as possible. Vikas Dubey is also feared to have fled Nepal so Lakhimpur Khiri district police are also on alert. Lakhimpur Khiri SP Poonam said, "An alert has been issued at the Nepal border for Vikas Dubey. It has a 120 km long border with Nepal, four stations and a photograph of it everywhere. Talks have also been held with SSB officials and an investigation is underway into the border alert.

Police have taken several people into custody on the basis of mobile call details and their interrogation is ongoing. All of these people have spoken to Vikas Dubey in the last 24 hours. There are also names of some police personnel among those who have spoken to Vikas. Because of this, there is a suspicion that someone may have already informed by phone when the police team went out for development inquiries.

It is learned that an inspector of Chaubepur police station was the first to inform Vikas about the arrival of the police. An inspector, a sepoy and a homeguard are all under suspicion and are being questioned on the basis of their call details.
