Amid Corona's transition, tensions are running high between the ruling party and the opposition in Andhra Pradesh. The state administration has arrested two senior TDP leaders on corruption charges. The TDP then accused the Jagan Mohan government of retaliating against TDP leaders.

YSR Congress general secretary Vijay Sai Reddy claimed in a tweet that TDP president Chandrababu Naidu was preparing to flee the country. "Chandrababu Naidu has approached a fugitive businessman who is currently in London," he tweeted. Naidu wanted to know the best way for the businessman to flee the country.

YSRCP chief whip G Srikanth Reddy claimed that Chandrababu Naidu was lamenting the arrest of his party leaders for fear of exposing his role in corruption.

In this regard, the YSR Congress has lauded the investigating agencies and said that the government was not taking any retaliatory action against the TDP but would definitely take action against those accused of corruption.

Shrikant Reddy questioned whether Chandrababu did not want action to be taken against those involved in corruption or was afraid to come forward against his role.

The government has arrested two TDP MLAs, Achem Naidu and Jesse Prabhakar Reddy, on separate charges. Chandrababu was going to meet his MLAs on Saturday but the administration did not allow it.
