Yoga seeker never loses patience even in crisis, do your job properly Yoga: PM Modi

On the occasion of International Yoga Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the seeker of yoga never loses patience in times of crisis. Yoga means 'Samatvam Yoga Uchyate'. In other words, yoga is the name of being in every situation, adversity-adversity, success-failure, happiness-crisis. In the Gita, Lord Krishna, while defining yoga, says that- 'Yoga: Karmasu Kaushalam'. In other words, the skill of karma is yoga.

The Prime Minister said, "When we are talking about solving problems and the welfare of the world through yoga, I would also like to remind you of Yogeshwar Krishna's Karma Yoga.

We are told there that-

Yukta ahar viharasya, yukta chestasya karmasu.

Yukta swapna-va-bodhasya, yogo bhavati dukha.

That is, yoga is about eating right, eating right, playing right, sleeping well, and doing our job properly. '

He further said, 'Our spirit of doing good deeds for all people without any kind of selfishness is also called Karma Yoga. This spirit of Karma Yoga is ingrained in India. As a vigilant citizen we will move forward as a family and as a society. We should try to make yoga a part of our lives by staying at home and with family. We need to be successful and victorious. '

Help fight corona with yoga

The Prime Minister said that yoga is proving to be useful in the fight against corona. Addressing the entire country, the Prime Minister wished all the best on the 6th International Yoga Day and termed the International Yoga Day as a day of unity, a message of world brotherhood. At the same time when children, adults, youth, elders of the family all connect together through yoga, energy is transmitted to the whole house, he said.

He also described this time as a day of emotional yoga and enhancing our bonding. He termed today as the day of world brotherhood and said that yoga is what brings us together. The one that reduces the distance is yoga. Yoga Day is a day to enhance our family bounding.

According to the Prime Minister, this time the world needs yoga more than before because of Corona. If our immunity is strong, it will help in defeating the disease. Corona attacks our body's respiratory system. Many asanas of yoga increase the power of our body. Pranayama helps in fighting this disease.

Usually Anulom Vilom Pranayama does all but there are many types of Pranayama. Covid-19 attacks our respiratory system. Pranayama helps in strengthening our respiratory system. Pranayama means breathing exercise.

Do pranayama every day

The Prime Minister advised the countrymen to include pranayama in their daily practice and also to learn other pranayama techniques along with anulom-vilom. Due to the Koro crisis, people are celebrating today's International Yoga Day not by gathering together but by staying on a digital platform and at home. For the first time, an international yoga day program is being organized on a digital platform.

International Yoga Day was celebrated on June 21, 2015. Following the Prime Minister's proposal on December 11, 2014, the United Nations General Assembly declared June 21, 2015 as International Yoga Day.
