The whole world has come to a standstill because of the Corona virus epidemic and the person is stuck where he is. Many Indians living abroad are trapped there so the government is helping to bring them back under the Vande Bharat Mission. From today, the third phase of the mission is underway to bring back the Indians trapped in Sri Lanka.

An Air India flight has landed at Colombo Airport in Sri Lanka to bring back the stranded Indians. In this third phase, people trapped in many countries will be brought back. It is to be mentioned that the airline service was shut down due to the lockdown and not only India but many countries have closed their air defense. International flights have been banned so the government is deploying special planes on its own.

So far, stranded Indians have been repatriated to many countries around the world, including the US, Iran, Italy, France, Australia, China and Saudi Arabia, and the process is ongoing. More than 50,000 people have been repatriated so far under the government's mission.

Corona is bringing people back not only by plane but also by naval warships. Thousands of Indians have been repatriated with the help of the navy from several neighboring countries, including Malaysia, Saudi Arabia and Indonesia. Indians brought back from abroad are quarantined for 14 days as per the rules.
