Corona is now spreading rapidly in the country and more than 10,000 new cases are being reported every day. According to the CIRO survey of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), its community transmission is not yet taking place in the country.

But experts believe the current situation in the country is not reflected in the ICMR survey and the government is adamant in accepting the truth.

These experts say that as Corona's community transmission has taken place in many parts of the country, the government should accept this reality so that people can be saved from paralysis.

The number of corona infections in the country has reached over 3 lakh, India is the fourth most affected country in the world after the United States, Brazil, and Russia.

According to ICMR Director General Balram Bhargava, while releasing the report of the CIRO survey, India has not yet reached the stage of community transmission of corona, but experts in virology, public health and medicine do not agree with it.

The survey was conducted for the first time to find out the trend of corona virus infection in the country, with a survey of 26,400 people in 65 districts showing corona in only 0.73 per cent of the population.

According to Dr M C Mishra, a former director of AIIMS, there is no doubt that Corona's community transmission has taken place in many parts of the country. He said, “Corona is spreading more rapidly due to delays in mass migration and lockdown restrictions.

The disease has now spread to areas where there was no case before. Now is the time for the government to accept this truth so that people become more aware of it and do not take it lightly.

About the ICMR's CERO survey, he said about 26,400 people were sampled, which was not enough due to widespread corona infection. Given the country's huge population and diversity. This survey does not show the true picture of Corona in the country.
