Washington, June 21, 2020, Sunday
On the one hand, there is tension on the border between India and China and on the other hand, negotiations are underway. In the midst of such circumstances, US President Donald Trump has also stepped in.
"We are in talks with both India and China. The problem is bigger than we thought," Trump said in a statement. The United States will help both countries get out of this crisis.
So far, the US has sided with India in the escalation of tensions on the Ladakh front. US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has called the Chinese Communist Party evil and blamed China directly for the situation on the border.
However, after Donald Trump's statement, there has been speculation as to whether the US is mediating between the two countries to reduce tensions between India and China.
