The bodies of the soldiers were found in a mutilated condition, the atmosphere in Galwan valley was tense

Ladakh, Ta. 18 June 2020, Thursday

The situation is tense at Patrol Pointer No. 14 after a clash between Indo-Chinese troops in the Galvan Valley near Ladakh. The mutilated bodies of the martyrs are angry at the recent departure of the Indian Army.

The general level meeting on Wednesday kept the situation under control for a day. The matter has calmed down a bit after a meeting of military officials between the two countries. Currently the Leh Corps Commander is in touch with the 3D Commander every hour and is monitoring the situation.

Meanwhile, the Indian Army has sent extras to all its key front-line bases along the Line of Actual Control in Arunachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh. The Air Force is already on alert to monitor LCAs and border areas at all its forward line bases.

India is besieging China from all sides
India is preparing to encircle China not only militarily and economically but also diplomatically. The State Department has briefed allies on the whole incident, and US President Donald Trump recently issued a decree imposing sanctions on Chinese officials. This sanction will be for the atrocities being perpetrated by China on Uighur Muslims and the US is monitoring the ongoing activities between India and China. Apart from the US, Australia has also given full support to India on this whole issue. Australian Ambassador Barry O'Farrell said India and Australia follow the rules and regulations enacted after World War II, but China did not.
