The air out of the map of Nepal, without strong evidence, made the claim

Patna, Ta. 12 June 2020, Friday

The maneuvering of the Nepalese government to show some parts of India as its own has been blown away due to some decisions of the government itself. On Thursday, Nepal's cabinet formed a nine-member committee to coordinate the proportion of territory it claims in India. Nepal government spokesperson Yuvraj Khatiwada announced the decision of the cabinet meeting during a press conference.

Yuvraj Khatiwada informed that a team of 9-member experts has been formed by the government to gather strong evidence and documents on the border dispute with India. Dr. Vishnuraj Upreti, President of the Policy Research Institute, the official think tank of the Government of Nepal, has been appointed as its Coordinator. The committee includes border experts, geographers, experts in international law, archaeologists, etc.

However, diplomatic experts are shocked by the government's decision. Dr. Arun Subedi, a renowned diplomatic expert in Nepal, expressed surprise that the work that should have been done earlier is now being done. According to him, the government should first hold a diplomatic dialogue by depositing evidence, but instead of publishing a map, a research proposal was tabled in Parliament and now efforts are being made to find evidence.

One thing is clear from this decision of the Government of Nepal that it has no strong evidence or document of the area of India which it was claiming. This means that the Nepalese government did this without any evidence or proof.

Questions on the Government of Nepal

This decision has raised questions about the Oli government of Nepal. The first question that arises is why did Nepal rush to issue the map if it did not have land documents?

Secondly, without any proof or document, at whose instigation did the Nepalese government make this move?

Third, is it true that the President of the Indian Army has claimed that the Government of Nepal has deliberately created a border dispute at this time to please anyone and to annoy India?

Fourth, did the Oli government of Nepal take this step to save itself from failure, internal strife and faltering power?
