The Supreme Court on Tuesday delivered its verdict in the case of migrant labor. The apex court in its order said that all the laborers should be registered and sent to their homes within 15 days from today. The court said more trains would be provided by the central government within 24 hours of the train's demand.

The Supreme Court asked the state governments to set up a counseling center for migrant workers. Their data is collected, which happens at the village level and block level. At the same time their skill is mapped. Which helps in providing employment. The state government should help workers who want to return to work.

In its order, the apex court said that cases of lockdown violations registered against laborers during migration should be withdrawn. All laborers should be registered and those who wish to go home should be sent home within 15 days. If the state government demands more trains, the central government will meet the demand within 24 hours.

At the same time, the Supreme Court has directed the state and union territories to formulate a scheme to provide employment to the workers. The regions have to inform the Supreme Court about this. The apex court said that the workers should be given the benefit of all the schemes and also informed about the scheme.
