Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi has questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi's silence on the clash between India and China. Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi and asked, "Why is the Prime Minister silent on the issue of Indo-China violence?"

Violent clashes broke out between Indian and Chinese forces in the Galvan Valley on Monday night. Twenty Indian soldiers were killed in the clashes, which were confirmed by the Chinese military. China's military has also suffered heavy casualties in the clashes.

Rahul Gandhi tweeted, "Why is the Prime Minister silent? Why is he hiding? A lot has happened now. We want to know what happened. How did China dare to kill our soldiers? How did he dare to take our land? '

At least 43 Chinese soldiers have been killed or seriously injured in a violent clash in the Galvan Valley of Ladakh, according to a report. Transportation of Chinese helicopters across the border has also increased. Talks are underway between the two sides to reduce the Indo-China border dispute.

Both sides are trying to establish peace in the region. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday held a meeting with CDS Bipin Rawat, the three army chiefs, to review the situation in eastern Ladakh. In this meeting, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar was also present.
