Some people have been active in secretly protesting against the citizenship law. However, the police have now deployed around 100 personnel as they are aware of it.

It is also reported that some of the women had even reached to start the picket. However, the police had sent them back after explaining them. A police force has also been deployed in Jamin area along with Shaheen Bagh.

For the last few days, planning was being done for the picket and meetings were being held. However, this information was received by the police. Otherwise, the picket would have resumed in the area from today.
