Police on Monday arrested Congress leader Shahnawaz Alam from the capital Lucknow. Shahnawaz Alam is the chairman of the Congress Minority Cell. Police arrested him in connection with a protest against the CAA and the NRC in December last year. Police suddenly picked up Shahnawaz Alam in front of the Golf Link apartment near the Chief Minister's residence.
