Next week, India will receive the first batch of 100 ventilators from the US

US President Donald Trump has told Prime Minister Narendra Modi that he is ready to send the first batch of 100 ventilators to India next week as a gift. Donald Trump said this to Prime Minister Modi during a conference call and the White House has confirmed it.

According to a White House report, President Trump spoke with Prime Minister Modi on Tuesday and the two leaders discussed the G7 summit, reform of the World Health Organization (WHO), the coronavirus crisis and regional security issues.

The White House said President Trump was happy to announce that the United States was ready to send the first batch of 100 donated ventilators to India. During the talks, Trump invited Modi to the G-7 summit and expressed his desire to involve India in it.

Prime Minister Modi also said that such a strong organization (G-7) was needed in the post-Corona period. He said it was gratifying to see the United States and other countries working together for the success of the summit. He also expressed concern about the ongoing violence in the United States and hoped that the situation would improve soon.

During the conversation, Trump recalled his visit to India last February and mentioned his lavish welcome. Prime Minister Modi also described Trump's visit as "memorable and historic" and said it had added dynamism to bilateral relations.

Trump announced on May 16 that he would provide ventilators to India as a gift and mentioned in a tweet that he could provide 200 ventilators.
