Jammu and Kashmir: Army search operation in Pulwama, internet service shut down

Army operation against terrorism continues in Jammu and Kashmir. On Wednesday, the army found out that terrorists were hiding in Pulwama in south Kashmir. After which a search operation has been launched in Kangan village. At the same time, the entire area has been cordoned off. Internet service has been shut down in Pulwama.


The army on Tuesday killed two militants in Tral in Pulwama district. Terrorists were reported to be hiding in Saimoh village of Avantipora. After which the army conducted a search operation. The jawans talked of laying down arms with the militants but the militants started firing.

Hours of firing, Bagh army killed two militants. The army seized heavy ammunition from this. Both were working for the Ansar Gajawat-ul-Hind terrorist organization. Pulwama had an encounter for the third day in a row.


Earlier, the army killed 13 militants trying to infiltrate the LOC. 10 militants have been killed in Mendhar sector and three militants in Naushera sector. The army seized 2 AK-47s, American rifles, Chinese pistols and grenades from the terrorists.
