Is China playing Pakistan's Kargil move in Ladakh?

Ladakh, June 3, 2020, Wednesday

The parallel between China and India is not going on, the way China has been raising its head on the Ladakh border for the last one week is worrying. China is playing a Kargil-like move in some parts of Ladakh, but the same fate that befell Pakistan is set to happen to China. The distance between India in 1962 and 2020 is as wide as the sky. According to information received, during the Koro transition, India canceled a war exercise on the Line of Actual Control (LoC) towards China in March. Taking advantage of Corona's position in India, the Chinese troops advanced to the Indian Army's patrol area. Tensions between the two countries have reached a tipping point since then.

On the Indo-Tibetan border, the Tibetan Border Police's sub-sector North avoided a war study when some of the corona came positive. The deployment of troops was reduced for fear of an epidemic in Corona. The maneuvers also involve going to the Himachal base, releasing the enemy's sixes. China also suspended its military exercises but later manipulated and pushed troops into the Finger Area near the Galvan Valley and the Pangong Reservoir. The first confrontation took place in Galwan between the armies of India and China.

The road from Karakoram to Leh was cut off due to the presence of Chinese troops. Following China's move, India broke the Covid-19 protocol and sent troops from Leh to deploy troops in the Galwan and Finger areas. There are currently 3,400 Chinese troops in Galwan and 3,600 in the Pangong Lake area. It is believed that the movement of Chinese troops on the Ladakh border was noted by the end of April when the lockdown was underway in India. The first news of a scuffle between Indian and Chinese troops in Ladakh came on May 6 in which several Indian soldiers were injured.

Chinese troops have taken up positions in the area where the Indian Army has been patrolling for years. These are areas that are very important in terms of defense. The situation is like an explosive and heavy fire even though not a single bullet was fired despite the deployment of troops on both sides. Attempts are being made by diplomatic channels to resolve the border dispute between the two countries. One thing is for sure, India cannot afford to be indifferent to any international border.
