New Delhi, June 30, 2020, Tuesday
Tensions between the two countries erupted on the Ladakh front after a clash between Indian and Chinese troops in the Galvan Valley.
However, India has kept its left against China. As a result, the Indian Army has now deployed six state-of-the-art Bhishma tanks in the Galvan Valley, where the Indian and Chinese armies clashed.
It has also launched a top-of-the-line anti-tank missile system to defeat Chinese tanks. The missile system can be used by soldiers to carry it on their shoulders.
The Bhishma tank is originally a Russian T-90 tank, the most sophisticated tank in the Indian Army's fleet of tanks, capable of responding to any Chinese insolence.
India has also deployed 155 mm howitzer cannons in eastern Ladakh. Two regiments of tanks have been deployed in the Chushul sector.
