Increased movement of Chinese Air Force, deployment of Indian and Chinese fighter jets in the skies

New Delhi, June 21, 2020, Sunday

While the Indian and Chinese armies are facing this on the Ladakh front, the deployment of Indian and Chinese air force aircraft is increasing in the sky.

With the air forces of both the countries on high alert, the border of Ladakh is now buzzing with the flight of fighter jets from India as well as China.

The sudden increase in patrolling of Chinese fighter jets has also taken the Indian Air Force by surprise. Air Force fighter jets and combat helicopters are also on high alert.

Chinese J-10 and J-11 fighter jets are seen moving near Ladakh. To counter this, India has deployed MiG-29s, Sukhoi-30s and Mirage-2000s at various nearby airbases, including Leh. All these planes are also flying regularly.

India has built a number of airstrips along the border with China in the last few decades. Where these planes can easily land and take off. India has allotted about 350 fighter jets keeping in view the Ladakh front. China has 157 jets and one drone squadron on the front.

The Chinese Air Force uses eight airbases on the border with India. Some of which are civilian airports.

However, a report from the Belfer Study Center says that India's Mirage-2000 and Sukhoi-30 jets are superior to the J-10, J-11 and SU-27 deployed by China here.

China's airbases, on the other hand, are built at high altitudes. It is also difficult for Chinese aircraft to take off in thin air with more weapons and fuel. On the other hand, Indian fighter jets are capable of attacking at their full potential. Because India's airbase is at a relatively low altitude.
