The killing of a pregnant elephant in Kerala by feeding it explosives has become a topic of discussion across the country. Now another incident of cruelty to animals has come up. In Telangana's Khamam district, villagers have hanged a monkey from a tree.

The incident took place in Khamam district of Telangana. Here in Ammapelam village the farmers were very much disturbed by the herd of monkeys. Meanwhile, one day a monkey suddenly fell into the water. A villager took the monkey to the village and hung it on a tree. The reason behind hanging the monkey in this way was that the rest of the monkeys got scared when they saw it and ran away from the village.

The video of this event is going viral. This cruelty to monkeys is being heavily criticized. In the video, where the monkey is hanging, some people are seen standing with sticks. So some people are seen celebrating.

Animal rights activists are upset with the villagers' move with the monkeys. Action is being demanded against those who have done such a thing with monkeys. Forest department officials have arrested three villagers following the complaint and are questioning them.

Not long ago, a pregnant elephant in Mallapuram, Kerala, reached a village near the forest in search of food, but some people there filled the pineapple with explosives and fed it to the elephant. He then died. Then there was the incident of feeding explosives to a cow from Himachal. Now a ruthless attitude has been adopted with him to get rid of the monkey.
