Beauty parlors and hair salons have also opened amid the easing of restrictions in Lockdown Part Five.
The government of Tamil Nadu has issued a circular instructing salon operators to prepare a register of customers coming for haircuts or beauty treatments and keep information including customer's Aadhaar card at a time when blocks are also going to salons despite the risk of infection. .
The government is believed to have taken this step so that people who come in contact could be traced if the corona virus is spread through a beauty parlor or hair salon. The name and address of the person can be easily found through the Aadhaar card.
Perhaps it would not be a surprise if the governments of other states follow the example of the Tamil Nadu government.
