In Uttar Pradesh, new scams are coming up every day in the recruitment of teachers. Now the government is preparing to take action against teachers employed on the basis of fake documents.

As many as six scam teachers in Uttar Pradesh have been sent notices for recovery of money and cases have already been registered against them. An inquiry has been started into the appointment of these teachers and the government has decided to recover the salary given to them during the job.

Uttar Pradesh police is also investigating the entire case to open a poll of scam teachers. Most of the scam teachers are those who got the job by showing someone else's documents. There are some teachers who have made their degree from a fake university and have been working on it for years.

About 5,000 fake teachers in Uttar Pradesh

According to the investigation report so far, there are about 5,000 fake teachers across Uttar Pradesh and the number may go up further as the departmental investigation begins. The government has given all these teachers till June 20 and will have to repay all the salaries received by the fake teachers by June 20. If teachers working on the basis of forged documents do not return the money, the government will take further action against them.

Recently, UP Basic Education Minister Dr Satish Dwivedi claimed that since Yogi Adityanath's government came to power, he has terminated the services of more than 1,700 people employed on the basis of forged documents. He informed that a digital database is now being prepared to ensure transparency in the system.
