Corona's trouble will be a turning point for India: PM Modi

New Delhi, June 11, 2020, Thursday

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Indian Chamber of Commerce today.

PM Modi said that the question in the mind of every Indian today is that if India was self-reliant in every field from medical to coal, mineral, edible oil, fertilizer, electronic equipment, how much better it would be if we become self-reliant. . For the last five or six years, India's goal has been to become self-reliant and the Koro crisis has made the desire to become self-reliant stronger.

"India's willpower has been strengthened every time in difficult times," he said. After Koro, we have to move towards self-reliance. The fight against Corona is what we are fighting for and will continue to win. We have to turn disaster into opportunity. This disaster has become a turning point for India.

PM Modi said that children grow up in the family too, so parents are saying that now you are standing on your own two feet, the first lesson of becoming self-reliant is being learned in the family. India also has to stand on its own two feet. It has to reduce its dependence on other countries. We have to work on why things that have to be imported cannot happen in India.
