Corona's fight will last for several months: Policy Commission

New delhi date. 12 June 2020, Friday

The policy commission has confirmed that the fight against the epidemic in the country will continue for several months after the CERO survey report on the Corona virus came to light. Commission member Dr. VK Pol said the report confirmed the success of the lockdown in the country and said it had succeeded in curbing communal outbreaks. The survey provides information on the situation up to the month of April.

Dr. "This is the world's largest survey of the corona virus and it has been found to affect less than one percent of the population," he said. The report shows the situation as of April 30th. The study was conducted in the third week of May. The antibody takes 15 days to form. Thus it is a great achievement that by April the transition to such a large country had spread to less than one per cent of the population.

He also informed that the death rate in the country is lower than other countries. "We are still in the early stages and the country's population is still very vulnerable," he said. The virus can infect the rest of the population, so it is important to protect the elderly, pregnant women and those who are already ill.

This fight will still last for months ahead. According to the study, we are still alive but at a very sensitive stage and could be infected with the virus. Because of this, social distance, masks and constant hand washing habits have to be maintained. Along with this, the responsibilities of the government like timely investigation and treatment, work on containment etc. have also been decided.
