Paris, June 30, 2020, Tuesday

Amid confrontation with China, France has extended a hand of friendship to India.

French Defense Minister Florence has paid tribute to Indian soldiers killed in the conflict with China in the Pearl Galvan Valley and expressed a desire to meet Defense Minister Rajnath Singh.

"India and France are very good friends. I look forward to meeting Rajnath Singh at his invitation. The martyrdom of Indian soldiers is a blow to his family as well as to the country," Pearl said. I am expected to pay my respects to the Indian Army and the families of the martyrs.

Amid ongoing tensions on the border with China, France has announced that it will equip six Rafale aircraft that can be landed at any time in combat, keeping in view India's demand. The aircraft will arrive in India on July 27.
