5.8 magnitude earthquake shakes Tajikistan, shakes Jammu and Kashmir

Jammu and Kashmir has once again felt the tremors. The epicenter was reported below the Pacific Ocean floor, however; no tsunami alert was issued. The quake, which struck at 7 a.m., had a magnitude of 6.8. The epicenter was reported at 341 km from Dashambe in Tajikistan. The effect was also seen in Jammu and Kashmir.

The quake was felt in some parts of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday morning. People rushed out of the house. How many earthquakes have been felt in Jammu and Kashmir in the last few days? Earlier, an earthquake shook Jammu and Kashmir at 36 minutes past 4 am on Monday. Its magnitude was 3.2 on the Richter scale.

Earlier, an earthquake was felt in Jammu and Kashmir on the morning of June 9. At 8:16 a.m. on June 9, people felt an earthquake. The magnitude was 3.9 on the Richter scale. The epicenter was 14 kilometers north of Srinagar and 7 kilometers south-east of Ganderbell.
