New Delhi, May 20, 2020, Wednesday

A number of foreign companies have decided to shift from China, which is causing controversy around the world due to the Corona.

India wants to seize this opportunity and is now succeeding. The well-known German footwear company, which supplies 80 countries around the world, has now decided to shift its manufacturing plant from China to Agra, India.

The unit will produce 70 lakh shoes per year. In the first phase, the company will invest Rs 110 crore in the unit. This will provide employment to 10000 people. In India, this company will work together with a local company.

In the second phase, the company's ancillary unit will also be involved, from which the company will be supplied with footwear sole, special fabric and chemical spills, which are not currently made in India.

The German company wants to leave China and come to India as the UP government is giving concessions to new companies and Agra is also known as the hub of footwear production. So cheap and skilled labor is also available here.
