Would there be more than 5 million cases of Corona today if there were no lockdown in India?

New Delhi, May 19, 2020, Tuesday

Corona virus positive cases are changing rapidly in India. Last Monday it crossed the 1 lakh mark which is 18 thousand more than China. The cases are still growing as the Corona epidemic continues to spread. In India, 99 per cent of corona positive cases have increased during the lockdown. The purpose of the lockdown is thus to prevent cases of transition, but the lockdown does not stop the pace of Cora's transition. The promotion of 55-day lockdown is about 1 lakh cases. It was never imagined that the transition to Corona would be so widespread in the country after the lockdown was imposed, but that does not mean that the lockdown was not necessary.

Lockdown and social distance are the only infallible weapons until a cure or vaccine for the Cora virus is found. The world is beginning to understand that if the lockdown continues as long as the corona virus persists, economic problems other than the corona epidemic will arise. As a result, most countries, including India, have begun to delay the rules and deadlines for lockdowns. The real test of compliance with social distance is yet to come when theaters, weddings, restaurants and big markets open. Cases doubled in 4 days when the first lockdown was given on March 25 but was not taken into account due to the low number of infected people. While there were some concessions in the second-third lockdown, the number of transitions immediately began to increase. According to a recent report, if there had not been a lockdown in India, the number of Corona infected people in the country would have reached 5,200,000 by May 16.

However, this figure is staggering as the total number of positive cases of corona virus in the world is 4.8 million. Lockdown has been a major contributor to the growing awareness of coronavirus in India and the growing awareness of social distance. After all these days, people have started taking care of personal hygiene. Taking into account the 55 days of lockdown, Cora's positive cases have increased very little compared to other countries.

If the lockdown had been more stringent and less relaxed, the speed of 3000 cases per day would not have been reached. More than 70 per cent of corona positive cases in India show no symptoms at all. Thus a positive person like a live bomb can infect more than 500 people. Corona is not gone but Corona can be given a definite beating if people follow the rules themselves by using the exemption they got in Lockdown-4. Gadaria's life will be the same as it was before the spread of the corona virus.
