Why do doctors and nurses in Delhi oppose withdrawal of hotel quarantine facility?

In the midst of the Corona crisis the front line Corona Warriors i.e. doctors and nurses have opened a front against a government decision. According to the guideline issued by the central government for health workers, there is no need for health workers to stay in the hotel quarantine. According to the information received, on March 29, the government had indicated to the medical staff that the hotel would be quarantined and the government would bear the cost. At that time, when the medical staff went home after treatment at Kovid Hospital, they had to face misbehavior from the neighbors. Special quarantine facility at the hotel has now been withdrawn for medical staff attached to Covid Duty.

The Delhi government has also implemented the rule under the guideline issued by the central government on May 15. Members of the Doctors 'Federation and the Nurses' Association came to duty with black bandages on their hands to protest the new gowdline. The protest was symbolic of the black band, but the Corona Warriors on duty were squeamish. Doctors and nurses have been silently protesting the cancellation of the facility in the new guideline. They demanded that warriors or medical staff treating Corona positive patients be kept in quarantine at the hotel for safety.
