Visakhapatnam gas leak: NDMA meeting held under the leadership of PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has spoken to Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, Home Ministry and NDMA officials about the gas leak incident in Andhra Pradesh's Visakhapatnam. He said the Prime Minister's Office was monitoring the situation and was making every effort to help. At the same time, PM Modi has prayed for the safety and good health of all.

An NDMA meeting was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Modi on the gas leak incident. The meeting was attended by Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Home Minister Kishan Reddy. In addition, in the presence of top officials involved in disaster management, PM Modi has asked for all possible efforts to help.

Rahul appealed for help

Expressing grief over the incident, Rahul Gandhi has appealed to Congress workers for help. "I appeal to the Congress workers-leaders to help the affected people," Rahul said. My condolences to the families of those who have lost their loved ones. I pray that the hospitalized people recover quickly.

Union Minister of State for Home Affairs G Kishan Reddy said, "I extend my condolences to the families of those killed in a gas leak at a private company in Visakhapatnam this morning." I have spoken to the Chief Secretary and DGP of Andhra Pradesh to investigate the situation. At the same time NDRF teams have been instructed to provide necessary assistance.

The BJP has expressed concern over the incident, saying the state government should take immediate steps to provide emergency medical facilities and start rescue work for the rest of the villagers. All resources should be used in rescue work. Many villagers are facing serious danger due to leakage of toxic gas.
