A five-year-old boy has died in New York from a rare inflammatory syndrome caused by the corona virus. From April 17 to May 1, 15 children with Kawasaki disease and toxic shock syndrome were hospitalized, according to the New York City Department of Health.

All of these children ranged in age from two to 15 years and five of them were victims of Covid-19. Of the children brought to the hospital, eight were placed on blood pressure support and five on a ventilator.

A seven-year-old boy died at the Maria Ferreri Children's Hospital in Walhala last week, and its physician-in-chief, Michael, said the child also had neurological problems.

According to Michael, a child has died of mysterious inflammatory syndrome and it is rare and deadly for most children to be infected but not to have symptoms.
