Tensions on Indo-China border, Indian Army thus stops Chinese military infiltration

The Chinese army once again tried to infiltrate Indian territory but the Indian army thwarted this attempt. Clashes also broke out between Indian and Chinese forces. Only when the Chinese army was advancing towards India through the Galvan River during the first week of May did the Indian army become alert and the deployment of troops was increased.

It was learned that the Chinese army was advancing with the intention of infiltrating Indian territory and setting up camp but it had to bow down to the Indian army. The Indian army immediately deployed its troops in the area and stopped the movement of the Chinese army. Thus the Chinese army's dream of infiltrating Indian territory in the Galvan Valley region remained unfulfilled.

The road near Galwan Point was a target for the Chinese army as it enabled the Indian army to move easily through the Galvan Valley. India has been building roads in this border area for the last 2-3 years so China is feeling the threat on its own.

Chinese helicopters have been seen flying in the area where India is building a road. China has been sending its own helicopters to stir up controversy over India's road construction in the border area. However, India has strongly opposed China's move.

China has deployed more than 5,000 troops along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) and India's eastern Ladakh region. Since then, India has also increased the deployment of its troops to give a scathing response to China. However, there has not been a single shootout between Indian and Chinese forces in the region since 1967.

Currently there is a conflict between the Indian and Chinese armies at the Line of Actual Control in eastern Ladakh. In the midst of all this, the government on Thursday said that talks were underway for a peaceful settlement of the border dispute with China, adding that the two countries had signed a number of agreements to maintain peace on the border.
