The government of Iran is always in the discussion for a conservative lifestyle. There are various restrictions on the people here.

Ahmed Moin Shirazi and his wife, Shabnam, have been sentenced by an Iranian court to 16 years in prison and 74 lashes for spending hours on social media and posting various photos and posts.

However, the couple left Iran for Turkey in 2019. They have been sentenced in their absence. They have two children with them.

Shirazi, meanwhile, who lives in Turkey, said: "Our interrogators warned my wife at the time against posting without hijab. The Iranian court wanted to convict us in any way." Iran had to leave.

However, Shiraji said, "I have learned the sentence through my lawyer but we will appeal against the verdict in the apex court. Shiraji and his wife have about 1.5 million followers on social media."
