Malaria medicine dangerous for corona-infected cancer patients: a study

So far no drug has been found to prevent the spread of corona virus. However, corona infected patients are currently being given hydroxychloroquine, a drug used in malaria. Meanwhile, American researchers have claimed that the lives of those cancer patients are at risk. Who are being given a combination of hydroxychloroquine and the antibiotic azithromycin in the treatment of corona.

The researchers said that the drug was widely circulated by US President Donald Trump. Preliminary results, however, indicate that doctors should not prescribe these two drugs to cancer patients. Unless further study can be done on this.
