Jammu and Kashmir: Terrorist hideout busted in Budgam, 5 Lashkar-e-Taiba aides arrested

The army has had great success in Budgam, Kashmir. A terrorist hideout was reported here. Five people, including Lashkar-e-Taiba aide Jahur Wani, have been arrested. Weapons and ammunition have also been seized from the hideouts of these people.

All are residents of Khansahib. He was involved in providing logistical and shelter help to Lashkar-e-Taiba militants. The group has been active in the area for the past few months.

Jahur Wani was helping the terrorists

Jahur Wani made his home in the forest. The army was also surprised to see his whereabouts as a large quantity of ammunition and weapons were kept there. Jahur used to facilitate the transport of terrorists for their comings and goings. Currently, the police have registered cases against all of them.

He was also arrested on Tuesday

Earlier, Jammu and Kashmir police on Tuesday arrested four accomplices of Jaish-e-Mohammed militants in Pulwama district. The four were working to provide shelter, food and other assistance to the terrorists. These people have been identified as Shabir Ahmed, Shiraz Ahmed Dar, Shafat Ahmed Mir and Ishfaq Ahmed Shah.
